The Gellibabies are on the move again – this week at Santorini in Parker St Williamstown since our home at RVMYC was unavailable due to an all day function but we return next week to our home base. We Gellibabies are a gifted lot and this showed with the fast footwork of the pres and his lady when our scheduled guest speaker had to pull out at late notice. Call it divine intervention if you like but the Rev Bill Beagley from All Saints Anglican Church in Williamstown was able at very short notice to not only fill the gap but inform and entertain us once again – this time about his role as the prison chaplain at Port Philip Prison. Our guests also included Sandra Prendergast – Teacher & Coordinator at Aitken College; Ellie Horsey – well known to many of us through her connections to Inner Wheel and previously served on the Fort Ball Committee; David and Micki Rathgen, friends of Bill Dagg and our favourite Frenchman Leo Bégué. A special welcome back to our newlyweds Susan (nee Sahhar) and John Katopodis, who were married last Sunday 5th November.
